At 11 seconds into this video, I am stumped by this gmc motorhome look a like. Just interested to know what it is and anymore info on it if the vintage motorhome nerds wish to chime

and both at 2 and 3 seconds there are two of the same looking model. I had heard of other brands using the FWD layout before GMC, but the 6 wheel brilliant arrangement for low flat floor plan?

Revcon made models with a similar drivetrain. They had the flat-nose pre-78, but switched to a slant-nose after 78 that resembled the GMC. It also switched over to a 454 and a transfer case after they ran out of the Toronado drivetrains. I think they went with dual rear axles at the same time.

I have a friend that had 1978 like that. It left GM as a transmode with no right side or rear windows. I forget what the original purchaser used it for. My friend re-did the inside into a motorhome. A few years ago he sold his to someone in Montana I believe and we never heard from them again. That was the one I had to remove the left side air bag with a flame wrench in the hot sun in July. The following summer I had t do the same thing to the other side.
It's a late-70's Revcon. They had a stash of drivetrains after GM stopped production, and used those.
The current location in the video is in Lompoc, CA, but I don't know who the owner is. I suspect the owner lives in a nearby town on the central coast. Santa Ynez isn't far.

Thanks for the replies, did some research on REVcon's 6 wheeler and while I thought they might be a good choice for a few minutes due to some higher quality build points than GMC's, taking all points from suspension, to parts availability, etc. the GMC still seems like the correct way to go. Anything specific about REVCON s that you GMC experienced folks wish made it over to the GMC platform which didn't?
I owned a Revcon slant nose a few years back. It drove well, and there were a few aspects of design/construction that I felt were probably better than the GMC. Interior cabinetry, and overall felt a little more "upscale" inside, but the GMC looked better outside. When I decided to buy another RV recently, I considered Revcon, GMC and the FMC Motor Coach. All have their pros and cons, but the immense amount of information and support available for the GMC made it an easy decision for me.
