A couple days ago, one of our engineers who is retiring
handed me a copy of a copy of Wes Caughlan's two-part
article that appeared in "Trailer Life" in 1983 entitled
"How To Damage A Tire and Call It Defective". For those
who don't know about it, it outlines his tests and
conclusions regarding tire pressures and loads,
especially with respect to GMCs.

I scanned and PDF'd the article and if anyone is
interested, I can email it to you (it's 10Mb large, or I'd put
on my Web page to download).

Offered in the interest of expanding the knowledge base
on this topic.

Some times these look good on PhotoPoint and don't use up your web page ;>)

Ah!

Hadn't thought of that. Haven't used PhotoPoint. Might try
that. If it will work, I'll post it there.

Thanks!
