Troops...........A quart of good quality, 100 proof Vodka dumped in with a
full gastank at the beginning of the driving season will get rid of the
water......Jim Davis, Oregon Coast, It rained again.

>From all the rain you seem to be getting, seems you need two quarts of Vodka,
one for the tank, and the other to drink since you have to wait for the rain
to stop.

Jim,
That explains the guy I saw hanging out the back window of a GMC last spring
up in Oregon -- with his lips around the exhaust pipe! Was that you? :-)
What a TERRIBLE waste.
Vodka is, of course, ethyl alcohol. It'd work but so will the far less
expensive and non-potable wood or methyl alcohol (no booze tax on methyl).

Lot easier to gety dry gas from the auto parts store. cheap and does the
trick without hurting anything. Save the vodka for worrying about something
else happening.

Jim, you forgot to mention "What brand Vodka, how much did it cost, where
did you buy it and when is the best time to install it-before during or
after the water is found in your tank!"? [g]
