Gene, After operating for six years with only my gas water heater in my 77
Birchaven, I recently installed the electric kit of which you speak. I love is.
It works very well and the only problem I encountered was running the 110 line
from one side of the coach to the other. Other than that, piece of cake. Pat

Gene, on mine it screwed into the drain plug hole. So now, when I want to
drain the tank for winterizing(yep, we have to in sunny Nebraska), I have to
unscrew the heating element. Murphies Law, to which I am an eternal subject,
dictates that ooner or later I will probably somehow break the element screwing
it in or out. Fortunatly, you don't have to screw it in very tight. Just follow
instructions and you will have no prob. Good luck
