I'm in need of a hot water heating element.
That's a 1000watt, 4 bolt, 120volt element.

Camco #04303 (one source, but not in Maine)

Does anyone know where I can get one.
Don't bother mentioning Camping World. Their reply was

Thing I'll pass !!
The 1000draws 8amps, the 1500draws 13.........on a 20 amp circuit
the micro on with the hot water heater and I'd be running outside to
reset the breaker.....an activity I would rather avoid :-)

Thanks

Johnstone Supply sells the adapter (Chromalox Adapt-o-matic flange kit #ADF-1)
for $3.44 each. (Part #N45-035)
The element is $6.14 (Chromalox part #SG1107L) Part #N87-016

Johnstone local phone # is in the catalog on my lap. Email me with your town and
I will send the closest store # if you are interested or you could give your
local plumbing store the Chromealox # to look up.

I got everything I needed (including the adapter) from Home
Depot. I even went with a 1500 Watt element (I know 1000
watt is recommended) but it sure heats the water fast. So
far I have not tripped any of the breakers.
