I never buy tires for any of my vehicles based on long warranty times. The
reason for that is after three to four years of time, tire rubber begins to
turn hard and your ride quality suffers. It begins to turn harsh. I change
tires then, regardless of tread thickness.

If you've noticed, after changing out all tires on a vehicle, the ride
quality is as good as it gets unless some other component is modified.

Change of subject heading.
I called Goodyear as to the warrantee on my Ridge Runner tires. They gave me
a telephone number which we called, the party on the other end said "Lee
Tires" after I told her what I was looking for, she gave me another number
to call. I proceeded and called the other number and the operator answered
"Springfield Kelly." OK so I got the information on my tire that was
manufactured by a GOODYEAR TIRE COMPANY. The warrantee was for 4 years on
the sidewall and a lifetime guarantee on the thread of the tire.
Is there any other tire that offers a better warrantee?
