Water collecting in shore power compartment

Does anyone else get standing water in their shore power compartment? This seems like a bad thing! I leave the door open just far enough for the shore
power cable to come out the bottom, and at the moment I don't have city water connected. I'm thinking that water running down the outside of the coach
shouldn't infiltrate, so maybe I've got in interior leak that's ending up in this compartment? Surprised too that there isn't a drain; maybe it's just
plugged up.

You are going to love this answer.

There is a small drain in the bottom of that plastic well it attaches to a short, about 3/8" ID, plastic hose that come outs in the wheel well DO NOT
REMOVE THE HOSE as it is a real bear to reinstall. It does not run straight through but circles around an electrical cable where you cannot get to
it. You need to find some way to unplug that hose it.

I had mine out to clean it and It was nearly impossible to reinstall.

Found the drain, and yes it was blocked, and yes I dislodged it when trying to clear it. D'oh. Fortunately I was able to reach the nipple it through
the back of the interior electrical cabinet and reattach the hose to it. However, I also noticed that the gasket material between the body panel and
the compartment frame was decayed and partly missing, so I think I have an explanation for a mystery water infiltration issue. Thinking about the best
way to ensure that any water coming through the hinge drains properly (staying within the compartment frame rather than running into the compartment.
