I believe that the new ones Cinnabar has are made like that.

Another thing that is not needed. When you run out of water you should dump.
Right! All these neat gadgets that break, leak and keep you busy like at home.

How do the new Cinnebar sensors attach to the tanks? Do they uses
same, stock readout gauges:

My understanding from talking to them is that they replace the originals and
work with the same inside gauges.

I recently talked with Jim Bounds & he suggested that I contact Golby.
I just installed their new holding tank gauge. All of the important
parts are outside the tank & not constantly submerged. The design seems
much improved. I don't have enough time, but my original unit was very
poor. I replaced it with another "OEM" gauge that also failed very
quickly. Give Golby a call and talk to them about the design. BTW the
cost was about $80 and no modifications.

I have to replace my float senders in the holding tank
and in the water tank
again. They are costly and do not last very long. It
seems that a simple
circuit could be made by attaching a couple of metal
plates to the sides of
the tank and measuring the height by means of inductance
or capacitance and
eliminate the internal tank floats and variable
resistor. Any suggestions?
