Hello there fellow GMCers. We have a need for an original GMC fridge,
it doesn't matter if it works or not, but the price has to be right,
i.e., cheap. We also need a generator, an Onan would be nice, working
or not, and again cheap. We are in the process of collecting the
necessities to rebuild our 74 Canyon Lands.
Does anyone out there have an idea what the ideal compression for a 455
engine is. We know we have to rebuild ours in the 76 Eleganza, after
our trip from Forrest City, Iowa and would just like to have an idea
what to shoot for in the rebuild.
We are both still working full time and slow to reply to our messages
but please bear with us, we're on deferred next year and plan on
traveling for the whole year in our GMC, and hope to visit and thank
everyone personally for their help. We hope some of you will be
traveling to Nova Scotia this summer, in our yard we have plenty of
parking space, a sewer dump, power, a large shop and tools to help with
any repairs and lots of stories. Perhaps we won't have many takers
because our gas prices are now at $.80 per liter Canadian for regular.
Any help re the above is greatly appreciated.
