Want to buy a GMC

I am looking for a mechanically reliable (updated) GMC that needs to be
gutted or is gutted. Close to the Left Coast is best but not required.
Intention is a competition BBQ wagon.

A few years back there was a guy om here from Gerlach, Nevada (I believe). He was buying / collecting GMCs to be used once a year as rentals at
Burning Man. I wonder what ever happened to him or the GMCs that he had.

He seemed to drop
Off the face of the gmc planet after his somewhat failed attempt at moving junkers from florida to nevada. Someone was trying to reach him a few
years ago as he left one on there property.

I heard he was spotted towing gmc's out to the playa
To rent, rather then trying to keep them
Drivable. But that is only a rumor.

Looks like gmc's are still in town, but larger more modern rv place is there as well when you google search.

I don’t think he’s out off the business. Just less conspicuous. When looking into renting a GMC MH through a rental service aN add came up for GMC rental that stated “several coaches for rent ....usually for burning man”.
