Yea well no harm no foul would of been nice if at least one went through I think like most we were prepared for the fallout. Not like we were all
betting the farm risk vs. reward blah blah blah.

My guess is that the seller: 'Fourwheel Online' has been scrambling a bit to clean this mess up.

I got the cancelled order due to pricing error, which is the correct way to handle
these (if you are not going to honor the price). But this will also mess up with
the seller's metrics, and is a good way to get your account suspended.

Don't know about the 'incorrect address' or sending the wrong item effect on the metrics...

I think at this point the question is: Has anyone one who had their order cancelled charged for the product. Have you checked your Paypal account or
credit card account for charges? Also, what is to stop this questionable retailer from charging you in a week or two when you are not watching
closely?

A couple of things that bother me at this point are:

1. The several different excuses given at the time of cancellation.
1a. Bad address
1b. Wrong item advertised
1c. We do not even sell that item
1d. Pricing error

2. Some people that have received shipments, but did not receive the item that was advertised, while the seller is still advertising / selling the
same item online at a 300+ % price increase.

This stinks of a bait and switch scenario or fraudulent sales program that may still be going on.

Ken: My excuse from Amazon was it was a misrepresented product and was advised to cancel my order from 4 W D. Amazon gave me a link and Said it
could take up to two days to cancel. I did the Amazon link to 4wd to cancel and had an immediate email confirmation from Amazon and a cancelation
confirmation from 4wd in about 2 minutes. Amazon said they keep a record of all emails for 2 years in case of any payment conflict.

Dan- I actually did not need the viair for my coach. I already have one installed and at this time my air system is in working order.

It is a sad thing, that the first thought was I wanted this item for coach rescues. Not like I have time or money to do many, but the first one I
went after, I did not bring a good air source(was told it was a driver). The second one, I have a 110v portable compressor, but that is only good
if you have a power outlet by the coach, or the generator works. Luckily that trip, we did not need air.

I had other needs too. Would be nice to have a portable 12v compressor with that kind of capacity for dune buggying, jeeping. and just misc. stuff.

I will be giving up my email exchanges with them this morning and get my return slip. I am not thinking it is a scam like Ken said, as this company
sells plenty on amazon, but just a mistake in there listing and order fulfillment system that they are not backing up.

My friend Ed should buy that Rapid City Coach, but I think he is happy for now with the Eleganza he has. We are 50% through getting all the bugs
worked out of it.

I actually talked my other friend Jeff, out of the coach. as much as it would be cool for him to have a GMC, he just does not need one. He can use
mine or Ed's, and he already has a super truck camper that fits his single bachelor off-grid camping. google "sport cam pickup camper" We have some
good friends that are living in a 5th wheel at a campground in Rapid City that could of gone over there and hauled it off today.

Even though it looks like a super deal, you can never tell by pictures, so I am curious how it will turn out. I looked at one a couple weeks ago,
that i thought was a sure steal for $3000. Had ragusa step, awning, bigger upgraded mirrors. Was a runner, and the pictures looked nice. But in
person, the thing needed restoration bumper to bumper. the only things that did not need restoration were the awning, ragusa step, and mirrors.

Dan - come down to Lake Billy chinook- next august.. plans are in the works. Trying to figure out if I should take the coach out there, rent an
RV, or maybe rent a houseboat.

Have any of you ever been to Lake Billie Chinook? I have. It is the armpit
of the universe. Eclipse or no eclipse. Like a descent into the cauldron.
Narrow road with switchbacks into a rattlesnake infested rocky canyon with
no shade. Hotter than Hades in summer, cold enough to freeze the proverbial
brass monkey's parts in the fall and winter. Clear to heck and gone away
from anything. Other than that, it is a nice place. (Grin)

I have never been to Lake Billy Chinook.... was kinda always on my mind to go there when I lived in oregon, but never did. Interesting observation,
and you are probably very correct that it is a very poor place for a GMC gathering.

My brother and I are waterskiier's, Lake Billy Chinook tend to come up once in a while as a waterskiier's paradise, so maybe it is just hype. It
is out in the desert, and definitely off the beaten path. Maybe it is not such a great waterskiiers place.

But it can't be denied, that the desert should have the best chance of not having weather problems in viewing the eclipse.

We are also trying to plan around a couple other things going on... My brother's father-in-law is a big star gazer, and is going to be attending the
Oregon Star party and wanted my brother to go with:
http://oregonstarparty.org/welcome/osp2017-total-solar-eclipse/ We thought of going to Billy Chinook for skiing, then just do a day trip out to
visit him from Billy Chinook, just for the eclipse. My brother does not think he wants to spend too much time looking up at the sky.

Jim your really painting a great picture of the place I'm going to have to google it now, it's all about the water skiing if the lake is flat it's ok to be hot I'll have to google it to see where in the heck it's at

For a wireless air based system - I think a 400C is a far better fit. The 400C is *way* faster than the 480C and the wireless air system is hard wired to a 30% duty cycle. So having a pump capable of a 100% duty cycle yields no benefit.

I changed to a 400C last year and it now goes up faster than it comes down!

They were right on one point, they don't carry the Viair 480C. Their 2
gallon setup uses a 280C.
I'm watching my VISA account to see when, or if, they cancel the charge.
So far is's listed as pending

finally gave up my emailing back and forth, even coping that 30% duty cycle they do cell back to the guy and did the return process with amazon.

I received a phone call, and he asked me what I did receive, and is sending out the shipping labels to mail the item back.

as far as the charge, my card was charged the day the wrong item was delivered. It shows now as a valid charge.

in the past, amazon is very good about this stuff, and I expect a quick refund once the return is processed. a big reason I did not mind at all going
through this process to see if I could get lucky. I feel bad for Jon, he actually probably needed this deal for his coach.

We know that when anything is new it will work, but after using it for
couple years, the 100% duty cycle will carry on lot better. We know this
from experience.
