I was asked to cancel my order. I wrote a note saying they should honor the listing. They replied that this was just an accessory kit that was
misrepresented and that they don't even sell the vair compressors.

calling home and I'll giver her a what was actually delivered. Looks like it wasn't the compressor based on the weight of 4lbs. Crap!

I'll post later today what I actually received!

Well, it has been an interesting thread!
I received the notice from Amazon that it has shipped and is on it's way...and a notice that my refund is being processed.....
I'm guessing I'm not getting a new air compressor but it's been interesting watching the "Oh SH!T we screwed up" process!

I seriously suspect that a majority of "our" potential buyers may have had no immediate need for the compressor, but simply wanted to take advantage of a "super bargain price" for possible future use.

packing list has the accessory part number, that does not match at all the amazon order part #. the amazon order part number I checked and it was
correct for what was ordered.

will see where this goes, but I am guessing a return mailing label and a refund is in the future.

FYI- if picture does not work, it was the viair tire inflation kit. a pretty expensive hose and air chuck.

It was worth a try.

I use the Viair 480C in my wireless air system that I build. I have never
been able to purchase them in quantity lots of 10 or more for less than the
price that Jim K just offered on the forum. If anyone really needs one of
these compressors, that is a 'Smoking Hot" deal.
Anyone who thinks that they are going to purchase one of these
compressors, complete with tank for under a hundred dollars must not be
aware of the quality of one of these compressors. The rebuild kit for just
the compressor alone is more than the price that it was listed for. Buyer
beware is the word of the day here.
