Craig:

Believe you'll find the engine is a 455 cid. Don't believe that Olds ever
built a 454 cid engine.

Subject: GMC: Vaquero & Revcon

I saw an add in the paper the other day for a 1978 21' GMC vaquero.
Being
new to this, I could not find any information on the floor plan for this
small model. Does anybody have one of these? How are they set up?
Engine?

Also for the gentlemen asking about the Revcons. My wife will not let me
start another project, but saw a 25' 1972 unit sitting in a used car lot

here in Casper for anybody that wants a project. Clayton Motors
307-265-9016. Once we got it started it ran like a champ. cracked
windshield on the drivers side, Olds 454, needs a new spare tire and
wheel. 16 1/2x33x12 1/2 tires.

The Vaquero you mentioned in your note is mostlikely a Class B on a GM
cutaway chassis. The Classic GMC Motorhome, produced between 1973 and
1978 was configured in 23' and 26' lengths and were powered by Olds 455
and 403 ci engines.
