I have noticed vapor lock mentioned frequently. May I offer a "shade tree"
remedy. Wrap a length of solid aluminum wire, approx.. 3 foot long around
the fuel line starting at the carb and ending at the fuel pump. space the
coils about 1/2 inch apart. It helps dissipate the heat into the air. If you
are out in the middle of nowhere try wrapping the fuel line with crumpled
aluminum foil. Might be enough to get you home.
