Emery:
In case you don't have the GM part number for the pump, it is 22034995.
Although I don't know if parts are available, perhaps a call to your local
GM dealer would get them to research the question.
I'm sure many would like to know the results.

Subject: GMC: Vacuum pumps for brake booster
Does any know if the diaphragm for the booster pump can be purchased as a
separate item? I bought a pump and it worked fine for about 6 months. It
stopped working (the motor still worked strong). Taking it apart I find
that the rubber diaphragm split. I went back to the junk yard and bought
another. $10. Got it home and found that it also had a bad diaphragm. They
couldn't find another so refunded me the $10. Went to another junkyard and
found two of them. I bought both for $10 each. Brought them home. One
works great. The other had a bad diaphragm so I'll get a refund on that. It
appears that the old rubber diaphragm is the weak link in this system. The
rubber has gotten brittle with age and heat. It would be very easy to
replace if I had a source for the part. It looks similar to the diaphragm
in a fuel pump. I also got 6 filters for free. Does any one need one?
I'll give away four.
