Looking into Vacuum pumps (see site below), I found a source for the
switch etc.
KTA services . Phone 909-949-7916 (also in Riverside CA) Their
differential Vacuum Switch sells for $75.00
Their Vacuum tank sells for $32.50
Their check Valve sells for $10.00
Reinforced 1/2"hose at $1.00/ft
Note: Their Vacuum pump (same as on site below) sells for $195.00 KTA
offers a comlete kit for $355.00
Does this seem high for the cost on the switch?

These people list a vacuum control switch for $20.95
http://www.poweraire.com/swprc.htm

A large number of GM cars have small spherical vacuum tanks in front of the
left front wheel, (where you hope the vacuum hose will be leading to a
pump). You can probably get these from a wrecker for a few dollars.
