HELP PLEASE I just got a new vacuum pump for vacuum backup on the power
brakes. I need one of you gurus to double check my understanding of the
proper hookup. Am I correct is assuming that the vacuum line presently
going to the power brake cylinder is to be cut, a tee added in the line,
and the suction side of the new auxiliary pump connected there to the
tee???
Second question: Where does the filter go? It appears to go on the
outlet side of the auxiliary pump but since this is "blowing air out"
what is the filter filtering???
