Darren the concern regarding insurance is an important one.
I for one had not been concerned about the use of propane
while driving since many vehicles have been converted to
propane for motor fuel use and they keep their propane on
while driving!
Many years ago, one of the first police cars my brother converted
to propane was rear ended on the highway with so much force that
the propane tank was knocked free of the car (without fire)
However your point is well taken. It would be preferable to carry out
any debate about the safety of propane used while traveling with
the insurance company PRIOR rather than AFTER a major loss.
Thanks
