Upper bunk mounts?

I've got an upper bunk, but a coach without the mounting hardware, is there
a source for the wall pivots and the ceiling mounts, and the belts?

Ron,

Don't know about the other parts, though I believe that Kerry said that
they would not be too hard to fabricate, but the belts were just the seat
belts that went with the couch.

On my bunk beds the belts looks different than the seat belts, at least
the end of the belts.

I have said this before, I don't know if it was you that asked. The wall mounts can be made from square tubing from your hardware store/home center.
It will take some sweat equity to make the cuts if all you have is a hacksaw, but definitely doable.

The ceiling mounts are thicker stock. I have been meaning to take pictures of the ones I have. Again, with the right thickness of steel, you can make
them with a hacksaw and a drill and a file.

Or you can get creative, see below.

The belts are regular seat belts. They just need to be the right length.

The rest is just nuts and bolts and screws and what-not.

The bolts holding the bracket fit into a mount, installed by GMC (yes, I know, the 'dud' factor), are fine thread. Suggest taking one out of a know
good bracket and getting a duplicate set of bolts. Hate to think of the hassle of messing up the installed mount. This remark applies to the 1977 GMC,
that I helped reduce to parts. The brackets that I removed were rather heavy gauge - no aluminum square tubing need apply.
I cannot find the brackets at this time. Too much GMC parts, mixed with other strange interesting stuff.

Ron,
The ceiling mount is a hook that screwed into the beam with two screws.
The ones against the wall is a U channel with a hole for a 1/4 " bolt to
form a shaft for the arm and 2 holes to screw to the wall.
The belt is used to suspend the bed to the ceiling.

The gmc has pre punched holes in most if not all of the possible bunk mount
location ceiling supports. I bought some salvage hooks from Jeff at Alex
sirum gmc. For what I paid it was not worth the effort of trying to build
them. I believe Jeff even sent me the screws and nuts which are weird
short.
