TZE Number Location

I was wondering if the TZE number is visible through the windshield on a
GMC, or if not, where? A GMC MH showed up with a for sale sign in the
windshield on a vacant lot here in Wichita. It's a Canyon Lands 26 with
considerable damage to the coach (several windows missing, looks like a
large tree fell on the rear of the coach, right in the middle, roof caved
in at about the centerline, rear window frame destroyed, scum on the body
that looks like a boat bottom after a summer in a Kansas lake). Has a
sticker from a local auto dealership that probably sold it new. Last tag
date was 1994. The local wannabe club feels the $7500 on the sign has an
extra 0 in it. Sure would be interesting to know its history.

TIA.

Larry the long-time lurker.

That is a conundrum; $75.00 sounds cheap even with the damage...

On my '78 model, the TZE plate is located on the passenger side firewall,
more-or-less behind the headlamp; I assume the others are there as well.
Unlatch the hood on that side.

Look at the passenger side firewall just next to the isolator for the plate.
