So my new-to-me coach has one new-looking airbag, somehow mounted using the plastic cones even though it seems to have spare metal ones in a box of
spares. The airbag on the driver's side is kind of scary looking, very old and cracked, I don't trust it to go anywhere and it needs to be dealt
with. The system will leak down if left over a day or so.
I'd love to go all out and get a quad bag system, but I need to keep the budget under control in case more things come up, as I'm sure they will
before I take if for it's safety inspection. I still have to figure out the brakes and CV boots and deal with the broken wheel stud, at the very
least.
So, do I get one new OE style airbag and maybe cones for the other side? Anybody have one good used OE bag for sale?
Or, should I get a newer system, (I'm slightly leaning towards Daytona Ferrera system) for both sides?
Is it more economical to just get the end-plates shipped and buy the bags locally in Canada? Does anyone do this or is it cheaper/easier to just
order everything and have it shipped from the US?
