Paul:

Have you tried Damark?? They have what you're looking for. A refurbished
one, I believe, is ~$250.00.

Sorry I don't have their 800 phone number with me to give you.

Thanks for your response Chuck D. I had already discovered the Panasonic
13"
AC/DC TV/VCR combo, but it was priced at $549 retail; so the best I could
get
was about $499. The other one was a Toshiba that was retail at about $399 &
the best I could do was $369. That's when I had discovered the Sylvania at
Sears on sale this weekend only for $269, regularly at $299. (Still way too
much for me to spend, since I am still looking for a microwave, continuing
the
refurbishing, and needing at least 4 tires soon; but doesn't look like I am
going to find a cheaper one.)

Thanks for the input. Will look forward to your report of how you like the
Toshiba. Anyone else like to comment here? Have you found a bargain for
$169
or $199 anywhere? What about a group purchase?

Just looking for a cheap (good) solution,
which is what this group has already done
several times in part/tool acquisition.
