FYI

There was a lot of discussion awhile back regarding
wireless internet & email. While there have been some
limited solutions, they cost more than I was willing to
pay or required I buy more equipment (I got too much "STUFF"
now).

Well ...
I just successfully logged onto the internet, browsed,
received email and sent email.

All using ONLY my EXISTING equipment.
My Digital Cel Phone, my Notebook PC and my existing
internet connection.

All I had to buy was a cable to connect my notebook to my
cel phone. Does not even require a modem.

I have:
Qualcom 2700 Dualmode PCS Phone
SprintPCS basic service (No addl fees)
Gateway Notebook (any 486 or better with 16meg works)
MSN Internet Service (any IP works - even AOL)

I had to buy 1 cable for $100 (All software included) and
get my phone software updated (No charge).

Now I can use my existing cel minutes, existing provider and
existing equipment for true wireless communication.

Best part is no additional monthly fees of any kind.

I also hear that AT&T and others have the similar upgrades.

The connection is only 14.4, but I am truely wireless. Not
real great for browsing - but email is a snap.
I can even connect to my office PC the same way.
