Patrick, my 78 Eleganza has twice had new Michelan XPS's on the front trued
by Weaver brake and Tire in Marietta, GA, (this is the place Zeb Frady
mentioned) and they were done to this coach on three previous occasions by
the original owner as new sets of Michelan's were installed. It is truly
worth the little extra money as the coach rides as smooth as a Cadillac. I
also had a 73 GMC as my first coach and the front end was never smooth
riding at all speeds until I had them trued at Weavers. I have 16.5" chrome
wheels, not aluminum. Weaver also spin balances the rears while you're
there ( I put two new ones on the front only at 15,000 miles and rotate the
takeoffs to the rear) and this also contributes to the smooth overall ride.
I've had no problems with Michelans and have no reason to change to any
other brand at this point. "If it ain't broke, I don't mess with it......"
Thanks Ron Freeman 78 Eleganza II
