Time marches on. My transmission and one I'm hauling for Chuck Boyd repose in the bed of my ratrod truck for Monday delivery to South Georgia where
in a few weeks they are to be rebuilt. The space in my coach allows me to spend some time in the engine room cleaning up loose hoses, endless wires,
and the like. Required tools - a pair of dikes and a two hundred sack of Ty-Raps
I'm shooting for the first of May.

Billy,

Manny's planning to come here again next month and build some
transmissions. He's been here twice before, and we'd agreed that "we're
both gittin' too old for this...", but events and demand means we're having
at least one more fun week.

Oh! Yes, I remembered that declaration, thus the confusion. Wish you
were closer, I'd bring a couple or three down as well.
