It is not electric, but it is hinged on the centerline of the step. It
folds "up/inward" for travel, reducing the "projection" distance. I was
able to leave the step-stool behind with this permanent addition. It is
made/sold by Ragusa Pattern works, and he makes other aluminum aftermarket
products for the coach. (Finned transmission and final drive pan/cover,
battery trays [fixed and slideout], bumper steps, flag holder, interior
door handle, etc.
IIRC, the step is available in two finishes. I have the ball burnished
model, and am pleased with the quality of fit and finish. This step is
made for the GMC, and mounts to the frame and outer channel. Requires
drilling 4 holes from the bottom up.
Ragusa is an advertiser in the GMCMH.
