I just drove down there in a car a few weeks ago. I don't
think there is anything to worry about on I-75 with your
GMC. I-75 is pretty flat. In fact I was surprised that it was
so flat. Going through the mountains was a non event as
far as I was concerned.
This past trip was the first time I had driven to Florida in
almost 30 years. I go almost every year, but I fly my own
plane down there. The last time I drove down there, I-75
didn't exist!
You shouldn't have any problems. Now on the other hand
if you were driving where there are real mountains, like in
Colorado, it might be different.
