If the pump is a Sur Flo they usually have a guy at the FMCA rallys that
will test and rebuild your pump N/C. In case ya 'll have forgotten what
that means, it is No Charge!

If it doesn't say Sur Flo it probably ain't!

Arch the correct water pump has a cast iron 6 paddle blade of 4 1/4"
diameter part # 412265-D24. It must have the D24 on it to be the correct
one. They can still be obtained from Ray Curtis at 1-800-764-3673 for about
$50. plus core.

You also need the correct thermostat for it, a Robert Shaw balanced sleeve
design #EP330-195. Proper radiator cap is an AC Delco RC32.

Arch are you sure that you do not have a 412265-D1 pump? The 6 could look
like an 8. In any case if it is not a 412265-d24 it is the incorrect pump.
To be sure does it have a cast or stamped impeller paddles? What is the
diameter of the impeller, 3 7/8" or 4 1/4"?
