I'm considering changing carriers for our cell service. Been looking at Consumer Cellular. Anyone out there using it and can comment on service when
away from home. We use cell for calls, text and hot spot for data. Would like reasonable rates and good coverage no matter where we are in USA.

We have been using TracFone as wireless service for years. Started with flip phones and now with Smart Phones. One Apple iPhoneSE (purchased direct
from TracFone) and low price ASUS unlocked GSM (purchased from Best Buy). Easy on the budget, control your own costs. Runs on AT&T backbone. Probably
spend $200 a year for both lines. We do not use for data, but can if necessary.
For Hot Spot, we went with FMCA deal. $50 a month. Works pretty well almost everywhere.

I got Repugnant (Republic) Wireless. Mine is $15 a month, her's is 12 taking the quantity discount. All the text and talk you can eat. Data only
where there's WiFi, or you pay handsomely for it. Requires an unlocked smartphone from their list of models. So far places I've gone seem to have it
if they have anything. Phone (Moto) was a hundred from someplace unknown.
