I would think that it would fit on any flat bed tow truck. If not,
Landoll makes a bus carrier, but that would be BIG bucks.

I need to transport 2 26' GMC motorhomes from Ct. to upstate NY. Has
anyone used, or do they know of a transporter with a flat bed to handle
a motorhome? I assume that it will take two trips.

Thanks

I'm pretty sure you are referring to Landoll Manufacturing's
Contractors Special trailer.

For more info check out their home page:

http://www.landoll.com/index.html

Most towing companies will know who in their area has one.

Two of the local towing services have a special lowboy design that
they call a LANDAU rig. its a dropped center trailer that breaks
in two parts, the break is done right behind the fifth wheel point.
this allows the GMC to drive or be winched up onto the trailer.
Due to the low clearance of the GMC it takes a low ramp to load,
and the Landau rig is made just for that. The local haulers use
theirs to transport crawler type cranes and tractors.
I,ve seen one of them loaded with a GMC as well.

Check with your local towing services, I,m sure they have access
to someone with a Landau trailer.

Although I have seen one more model that did,nt appear on their page.
anyone of those models they show should be capable of hauling the GMC
the one picture of the bus loaded is interesting.
