Has anyone considered using a standard transmission
on the GMC? Looking at the OLDS FAQ it appears that
some models of the tornado used a manual transmission.

Does anyone know if this was a three or four speed trans.?
Would a manual transmission hold up on a RV which weighs
so much more than a car?

Is there any truck or heavy duty trans that would fit on a 455?
If this conversion could be made it might be a way to improve
mileage. Does anyone have some thoughts on this subject?
