Transmission Question

On the way back from Myrtle Beach, SC, we had an odor in the Motorhome that
most folks seem to believe that was coming from the sewer.

I am still not convinced that there is not a problem with my transmission
and want to check it out before proceeding to drive to Bean Station, TN for
the Dixielanders rally. I really would hate to arrive behind a large
wrecker.

Are there some fairly simple things to do to determine if I may have a
problem? If I had time, I would try to run it down to Zeb's but that it not
an option at this point.

Thanks,

tw

Tom,

If you drove with either of your cockpit windows open, the odor was most
likely from your holding tank.

We covered this in excruciating detail several weeks ago. Make sure there
is water in all the traps and keep the front windows closed. A long term
solution is to install a venturi styled air vent at the top of the up
pipe from the bathroom.

That would be my best educated guess!

Tom, There was lots of chatter here recently re. waste tank VENT STACKS and
dried out "P" TRAPS allowing brown water tank fumes to enter the coach.
Before I tore into the xmission, I'd start there first.
