Thanks for the response,
What you said to me makes sense. The reason I didn't install the
sensor in the oil line going to the radiator was because it seemed
like a lot more work, then just installing the sensor in the tranny case.
I was in a hurry (as is usually the case with me) and I didn't want to
mess with those oil lines.

Installing my new instrument panel sounded a lot easier to do then
it turned out! It looks great and seems to work great (except for
possibly the tranny oil temp).

Maybe after I install my new Statpower 40, PortaWattz 1000 Inverter
and generator transfer switch I'll redo the tranny oil sensor location.
