I got the eight gage model. It has oil pressure, oil temp,
trans temp, water temp, fuel gage, voltmeter, tachometer
and speedometer with trip meter. It also has a remote
start/stop switch and light for the onan, and a switches for
the electric fuel pump, battery booster, fuel tank switch and
windshield washer.
It has lights for air comp, power level, park brakes,
brake system, onan, cruise control, door ajar and low fuel.
I got kind of a wood grain that sort of matches the colors
of the overhead cabinets in my Palm Beach. I'm now sure
what the color is called.
It took me longer then I thought it would to install. Part of
the problem was that the installation manual started out real
easy to follow and then about a third a way in it started to
not make any sense at all. The color codes for the wires
didn't exactly match the wires I had. I had to call Mac a
few times for clarification. It took a couple of weeks of
working an hour or so a day to get it all in. This was not a
10 minute job. I'm still not done with it. I have to hook up
the Onan remote start and install the electric fuel pump.
But it looks real good. I'm a gage freak (comes from owning
an airplane I guess) and I like to have more information on what
the engine is doing then I got with the OEM gages.
I really the turn signal lights. I can see them at a glance. With the
old panel, I couldn't see them and always had people waving at me
to let me know the signals were on. That made me feel real old!
Now I have to figure out where to put a vacuum gage. I've run out
of room.
