Back in mid February I decided to have the transmission filter and fluid
changed since I had no knowledge as to when the filter had ever been
changed. The transmission had not give any trouble or leaked. Now a little
over one month and 228 miles later, it starts leaking. Any comments??
Thanks

is it still wise to change the transmission every year or 12K miles.
That's what I remember being told

Man, I hope not. If it's true, it's no wonder good
THM425s are getting hard to find .

Guys,
You're starting to scare me! I already just spent $15K on rebuilds last
year... and now it looks like I'm gonna need of do this annually.... GEEZ!!!
And here I thought all those boat owner jokes everyone at work have been
feeding me lately was only for boats, not GMC's (IE: What's the happiest day
in a boat owners life,...).

PS. Only good thing is I had my tranny changed TWICE in less than a year
(grin)! So maybe I can go two years now (ya think?)!!!

Gosh -- Al --- I thought that changing the transmission every year was a
great idea. Talk about preventative maintenance! Of course we all don't
have your budget. . . .

Looking forward to getting together with you when I get back.
