Greetings From Lompoc. Just got on the net it is 6:11 PDLT. Seems to
be a great deal of discussion about what is good an may not be for a
transmission. In reading the netters views I saw nothing noted about
CASPRO gears, or is pan. The gears when rebuilding the transmission
will be of great help to you. The added final drive is the ultimate
with his gears and the pan provides one more quart of oil. The only
suggestion I saw that was truly beneficial was the addition of an
auxiliary oil cooler. Mine is mounted on the left hand side of the
front of the engine and at about a 30 degree angle to the base of the
radiator. It works wonderful and no problems what so ever. The engine
auxiliary oil cooler is next to it and the two of these auxiliary
coolers are protected with a 1/4 inch mesh screen that is molded into a
half circle and connects to the lower portion of the radiator frame and
then back to the cross member for the front motor. Works great.
