Hello,
I have a small tranny fluid leak at the speedo gear housing. Probably 2 tablespoons while sitting for a week or more.
According to the manual, it is either the speedometer gear housing attaching screw or the speedo drive gear oring
I have headers, so I think I will need to remove the drivers side

Any words of wisdom on what to expect once I get in there?

Thanks, Scott..

No need to remove headers, undo the reducer and there is a steel bracket
with a bolt that attaches to the trans, remove it and pull the assembly. We
supply the rebuilt one with new seal and swap.

Jim K,
I have the speedo that is corrected for the 3:21 final drive. Do you have the rebuilt one for that?
Scott.

You will reuse the plastic gear and we supply the Bullet with a new seal. I
believe we show that on our sight.

Scott,

I bought one too. That fixed my transmission leak also!

Easy fix.
