Transmission Filter #

These are the # I have for Transmission Filters are there any others and
what I really want to know what everyone uses, recommends and are there any
we don't want because of fit problems etc. Original 425 Trans. 455 engine.

AC Delco PF-169
Atlas 131
Fram FT-1019
Motorcraft FT-19
Purolator P-219
Union B-40
Wix 51882

I tried the FRAM FT-1019 and couldn't get it to fit in the valve body like
the old filter I removed. Got a WIX and it worked fine. The filter needs to
have a COPPER inlet and outlet tube. If it's all stamped sheet metal
(silver) like the filter body itself it simply wouldn't fit in my tranny.
Pull the new filter outta the box and take a look before you buy it. Dunno
if anyone else has had this problem but man alive I sure did!!! I was
cussing up a storm all day long one weekend!

regards to Trans Filters. And I know all of you use them.
