They have been a transmission rebuilder in Portland for many years. I have
not heard any thing bad about them and I know that many local shops that are
not transmission shops use them. They are however a mass rebuilder and I
would suspect that you would not get the custom service you would get from a
private rebuilder.
Several years ago when I toasted my transmission I went to the trouble of
finding an old toronodo and buying the whole car and then having the
transmission custom rebuilt by someone that I new had a good reputation and
was not going to have a high school kid doing the rebuild. I also wanted the
455 engine which I now have in the back of the shop waiting for a rebuild.
After being on this list I whish I had kept a lot more of the parts off that
car before I had it scrapped.
