I am thinking about installing a Transmission Temperature Gauge. I would
like the temp sensor placed in the oil line that comes out of the
transmission. I am thinking that I will install a T fitting with the temp
probe in the oil line.
I looked at the trans where the oil lines come out. It looks like there are
two fittings screwed into the trans casing. One fitting is inboard (closer
to the converter) and one is outboard (farther from the converter). Which
is the outlet line and which is the return line?
Also, I was looking for the vent that has been discussed previously and am
unable to find it. Where I should be looking?
