Neely,
I know for sure that the FRAM 1019 does not fit right. I have one that I
filed, sanded and worked on for 4 hours and it never did fit up inside trans
body like the original. I know the Hastings TF17 fits since I got mine from
Chuck Kokesh. It has a copper inlet and outlet and matches the one Jim
Bounds put in my rebuilt trans. Seems the copper tubes must be slightly
smaller since they slide right in and the two others I had (non-copper FRAM
FT-1019 and the other was from O'Reily's in a blue box didn't keep the PN)
never even came close to fitting in the opening of the trans body. Just my
experience... hate to have someone share this one 8-{.
Nate '75GB (80 degrees tomorrow... and 2 weeks til Thanksgiving! Bad Boy
here I come!) Omaha
PS... gonna redo my NAPA Steering box AGAIN tomorrow. I'll time myself this
time.

I am sure this has been covered before but I didn't know I needed it then.
Please give me proper number for Trans filter on '78 Elenganza II, 403
engine. Want to have it changed as I have no idea when it was done. PO
does not recall doing it.
Thanks
