I hooked up the custom mounting plate, modified the tow bar bracket to
fit it (would not rotate, an 8" grinder made short work of it). And
took some trailer lights I had lying around, put well nuts in the inside
back door of the Tracker, bolted to the wellnuts, a spare wiring harness
and I am set to go (I hope).

Katelyn is in the Junior Miss America Pageant Regional contest on
Saturday, then off to Ken Frey (if all goes well).

I trust you, Julie and Skipp the Dog (not to mention the Kids!) will have
a great trip Ron.

I also expect that with you, Mark Andreasen and others on the road the
mail load will will shrink dramatically from the 155 plus msgs daily. I'm
suffering withdrawal already.:-)

I plan to set up 100 or so messages with a macro set to slow release messages
while I am on the road.

Dropped the GMC off at Ken Frey's place today. He seemed to be a real "right
dude" according to Erika (8 years old). Tracker followed like a champ.
Thomas (6 last week) checked every few minutes to make sure. "Dad, its still
there!"

I am going to modify the pivot pins on the Tracker mounting plate. The pins
that are supposed to keep the tow bar from pivoting down or up into the
bumper, dont seem to be doing their job. My temporary fix worked. This is the
problem with a mounting plate from one company and a tow bar from another.
Really happy with both, just need some work to work together.

Besides, with the GMC away, I need a project!
