Due to the tall gear ratio and manufacturers limitation the best in
my opinion is the Saturn. Weighs 2400 lbs. and has electric
odometer. Also it is one of the few with automatic trans. which can
be towed 4 down. I used an Excalibur towbar which stores on
motorhome and Sensitor Towbrake on car which gives safe braking for
the combination. You can apply brakes on car separately in case of
brake failure on mh. It has a breakaway circuit in case of loss of
hitch which also complies with legal requirements. I have no
connection with either Saturn or Sensitor other than that of a very
satisfied customer. Also you should install trans. cooler when
towing.

I towed a 1984 fiero fm4 with standard 4 speed shift for several years. Very
light, and low. Had to look to make sure it was still there. Odometer did
not register with ignition off. The hardest part was finding a welder who
knew how to fabricate and secure the tow bar attachment to the car.

hoses, belts, water pump, the works. Now eager to get on the road.

May want to pull a small vehicle on the ground, but know nothing about
which
can be pulled w/o miles totaling up, etc. We want to keep it simple. Any
adivise would be really helpful.

Thanks.

Sensitor can be reached at 800-927-6778. I bought Excalibar at
Camping World but they were closing out for another brand, which
their local salesman was less than delighted with. The manufacturer
is Dethmer(unsure of spelling) in Iowa. If you can't find it I will
dig out my docs.
