Tovio,
Not as bad of a job as you would think, if you have the unloader tool
or something you can use in it's stead. You cannot use the adjuster
bolt to get the replacement bar into position, you'll strip the
threads(most likely). Since you are replacing the bar, counting the
turns on the adj. bolt isn't too critical since the original tension
isn't the same as the replacement. Anyhow, back out the adjustment bolt
until the porkschop hangs down to the point where the new bar will slide
in with little or no resistance. Front goes in first, then rear.
pre-load the porkchop with whatever tool you have handy, run the adj.
bolt up to approx. the original position, enjoy the rest of your trip.
Worry about exacting the level of your coach when you have the luxury of
time, place & tools.
