Toad to beat all others????

Roger

I totally agree with you. I was founding president of the first BMW Club in
the U.S. (Mostly Isettas naturally) in 1960 as I remember. I'm looking for one,
now, but have a little trouble paying around $10,000 to get one that runs and
looks decient. Then I'll paint it to match the GMC and have a toad weighing
about 850 lbs plus the trailer.

What memories.... I drove an Isetta when I worked for a pharmacy. Used to deliver
to homes when I was much much and much younger, and had hair. Still remember them.

Wayne,
Interested in one in Ohio? Around $7500 if I recall correctly. Would have
to go back searching to find it though but no problem.

I had an Isetta 600 back in the early fifties. Great little scooter, the
front access door & articulated steering linkage was unusually to say the
least. There were also a few Heinkels and Messerschmits (spelling?) along
the same genre back then.
As always, best regards.

Funny thing, in the late 50' and early 60's we called them Isetta 600's. Now
it's said that the 600's were never Isetts. Just BMW's.
