Arch,
I'm just starting to pull a Tracker and I hope we at least get some
assurances that there are no problems.

GMCers

OK I ask a question this morning that I did not get answer to. Is there any
special set up on front end alignment for a toad? Sidekick manual says
. 24 inches toe in on front end. Sounds like a lot to me. I also think I
have
ground a lot of rubber off the front tires for only 12,000 miles. Any
thoughts
will be listened to.

Andy,
Perfect reply, Thanks. Mine is a '95 with auto so the setup is the same as
yours except the tranny stays in park. I chickened out and put on manual
hubs. I've only towed it about 1,000 miles so far and it sure trails fine.
I'll check the Remco speedometer stuff.

Bob McL,
I've pulled a Tracker for five years and have had no trouble.
It follows the GMC like a shadow.
I have a '92 with standard shift and automatic hubs. Although
the manual recommends manual hubs, I have never had a problem. I follow the
book - 1. put the transmission in neutral, 2 - put the gear shift in second,
3. put the ignition in accessory so the steering wheel is free to turn, 4.
every 200 or so miles, run the engine to circulate the fluids.
I also put a REMCO gadget in the odometer cable so it doesn't
register miles while towing. REMCO says it is legal if it can only be
activated while the toad is attached to the coach.
Good towing!
