I believe in your little test drives. It takes some of the stress out of
that first long run. Nothing builds confidence in the rig like driving it
and learning all the herks, Jerks, and noises.

I have about 1000 miles on most of my major changes and only now am I
starting to feel I will get to the destination with out problems.

Sounds like you are getting close, time for a 200 mile test.

Arch,
Nice pictures. Enlighten me. Is there any automatic interconnect between
the motorhomes braking effort and the toad brakes?

Arch:
I was in Croswell last night. They are building a McDonalds. Good food for
clogging. Check out the State and County Parks (Sanilac) there are good
ones there. Also Max at Buskirk goes to a park right there quite a bit.
Give him a call. Prettiest parks are on the Saginaw Bay side but that's
quite a hike from Croswell.

Arch,
WOW! I really like that full remote control. Now if we can just get our
front brakes to lock up when we want them to.

Yes, there is. The little gadget that I had my left hand on in the motorhome
has a pendulum in it just like the electric brakes for a trailer. The harder
you are trying to stop the more the brakes are applied to the toad. I have
not tried this out yet. You can also adjust how much the toad brakes are
applied right from the cockpit.

Take Care
Arch

Arch,

That's a nice system -- thanks for sharing those pictures. I really like
that little control gizmo in the cockpit. It's a lot smaller than the brake
controller on my old pickup.

Regards,
Steve

If anyone is interested, I have a TEKONSHA VOYAGER brake control, used only
one season for sale $20. Allows remote control and adjustment of electric
brakes. Email me off net if you are interested.

Arch, I am very interested in your brake activity. I
have looked at the US Gear system and believe that
would be my choice. Also observed the pictures you
posted, doesn't look too hard to install.

Keep us informed.

Good news I got the toad brakes all wired up in the
lady today. My report is that I like what I see. The
big question I had-----was the vacuum ....
