The guy in the tire shop says Load Range "E" All Steel radials are not "All
Season Tires" (as are D's). Is this an accurate statement and, if so, what
is the significance?

Hi Bill

Goodyear has a traction tire to match the G159LT. Check it out at the
links below. It may be a bit too aggressive to classify as all season but
is all steel with 3 tread belts.

Perelli has a Q rated tire (100mph), all-season, load range E, it only comes
in LT235/75R16 with a 3040 lb. rating. It is a ??? body, steel & nylon belt
design.
It is called a Scorpion I.
