If anybody has the 1981 general tires, they should inflate them to 80 psi
as General Tire recommended. Three year after GMC production is shut down,
GMchomes recalls the General E rated tires and replaces them their E rated
all steel radials. General no longer makes radial tires for the GMC1
How else to get out of the box that Geneeraltires fore tires that that did
not perform and ruptured? What, they no longer make those tires!. Wow, 19
years old tires!. Has anything change in tire technology? A whole
generation of racing and nothing has changed ? I don't think so! Does
General make RV tires?
If, on the other hand, you have all steel radial tires made by Michelin or
Goodyear. Maybe you should inflate them to match the pressures recommend by
the factory that makes their tires. Times move one, technology changes,
match the tires pressure to the people who make, test and stand behind the
products your can buy. What an unique.concept! Were are the lawyers in
this? Have they missed some deep pockets or is the recommended data valid?
Litigation is the currrrent American way! Hello trial lawyers!
