I got my 215's R265 series today, 10 ply rating.

Air pressure on the tire is given as 80 pounds vs the 65 on my 8 ply's.

I'm assuming the 80 is for when it's used on a truck and that 60-65 is still
the correct pressure to carry.

Am I right?

P.S. Made the mistake :-) of polishing a piece of the 3 year old Alcoas...
new project: polish 'em all.

If you look at the load/inflation table found on
http://www.trucktires.com (then click on the Bridgestone block in the
upper right, click on load/inflation tables and then click on the last
Light Truck Radial Tires selection on the table) you'll find the load
carrying capacity is the same for both the 215/85 and 225/75 tires.
